Suggestions that we all shared during January 2011:

1. Make your juices ahead (for the day or week & freeze)

3. Start little with the ginger at first

4. Start with more fruit juices until you learn to love the green juice

5. Store your juices in glass, airtight containers can keep juice for 72 hours

6. Enemas, especially coffee, are you friend.

7. Warm tomato juice for a "soup" (keep under 118 degrees to keep nutrients)

8. Drink herbal tea

9. Drink Smooth Move tea to help with bowel movement.

10. Try different juice recipes to keep from getting bored.

11. Dry brushing really helps with lymphatic drainage.

12. 64 oz of juice a day, if you are hungry drink another juice

13. 64 oz of water a day, drink more if you are thirsty it aids fat elimination

14. Reread the detox symptoms, often when you aren't feeling good, you will find your symptoms listed.

15. Use your pulp to make veggie broth. Or save to make vegan chips or compost at your farmer's market. At a later date.

16. Stay off the scale. Don't get discouraged. The weight will come off just give it a chance.

17. Remember you are aiming for 80% veggie/20% fruit

18. In the summer freeze your juice into Popsicles. It makes for a nice summertime treat.

19. Freeze lemon juice and mint into ice trays. Pop them into your water for a fresh change from the oh hum drab water.

20. Remove the thick ribs from kale and greens before juicing to cut down on bitter taste.

21. Brush your tongue after you drink your juice.

Take what works for you, ignore what doesn't.

Juice On.
