Forward Steps

Hello Peeps:

I wanted to keep you updated on how I have been trying to show my body more appreciation. I have for sure started with the body brushing and it really feels like I am pampering myself. "I LIKE". In addition, I am more in tuned with my food choices. It seems as though the day you start to eat something that was a BAD habit from the past you cannot back a way from it. As mentioned in past posts I am the ORIGINAL junk food junkie. Therefore,I have the strongest cravings for  SWEETS. During this week, I tried to fulfill that craving with a fruit that has sugar. For instance, nectarines, plums, grapes, apples and mangoes. Although these fruit contain sugar that will keep me from the jolly ranchers, the cupcakes, the ice cream and the "FRENCH FRIES"..Okay that is not a sweet but for sure a weakness. I actually enjoyed walking with the kids (exercising) and the entire family taking part with healthy choices.

Kids routine, they have a cup of milk and water during the day and juice after dinner (one cup). This is my method to keep them from drinking all sorts of sugary fluids during the day. They have snacks that are no sugar added, organic milk and baked chips/sun chips. Although, I know these may not be the perfect food choices, these are my steps to move in the correct direction with my entire family. As far as my husband...we all just need to send him healthy energy. He is uninterested in any organic, low salt, unsweetened, low cholesterol products. It's okay, I am thinking that if he continue to see the kids and I grow in this area, he will eventually come around. WE MUST SAVE DADDY!!
